V is for Vernal Vortex
When I had NO idea what to write, I gave a holler out to my Twitter peeps about "V." I got two answers: "vernal" and "vortex." (Thank you, Elizabeth and Rebecca, respectively!)
So, here's a sci-fi idea: The Vernal Vortex is only open on the first day of spring. If you want to jump into another world, you must do it on this day. If you miss that window, you must wait until the next year. Same thing for the return home. How much could happen in a year? Where would you go?
And...that's what I have for V! :)

Oh geez...That's a toughie...Especially since it'd pretty much be for a whole year (because let's face it: who is really gonna be able to jump the vortex, take a crazy ride, and still remember to jump back in for returning home in < 24 hours? hehe)...Hmm...Something cool. Fun. New. Where I know I shan't get my head blown off or something though ;o) That's very important. Hmm...
FAB picture and V choice. I'd hop into the future when we are all flying instead of driving in our everyday life. OR I'd love to pop into an early colony on a Goldilocks planet outside our solar system. BTW - David Tennant is my favorite Doctor as well.
