Author Visits at schools, libraries, and book clubs

I love speaking to people, and especially young people, about reading and writing! As a confessed book nerd and teacher, nothing makes me happier than seeing young people read books.  If you are a teacher or a librarian in the Southern California area (especially Orange County), please contact me if you'd like me to come speak to your class/group.  If you are out of the SoCal area, please contact me about travel expenses to your event.

School Events

-School Assembly (30-60 minutes) I talk about reading, writing, the road to publishing and encourage students to write. Longer presentations will include a writing workshop.

-Classroom/library presentation (30-60 minutes) Smaller group writing workshop where students are able to share their work.

-Writing workshops (30-60 minutes) "Step-by-Step Writing Process"

Available for book signing, lunch with interested students/book club members, interviews during the school visit.

It would be wonderful if you had a copy of my book ahead of time so that students know what I write about / my style. (They don't have to buy my book but if they want to bring a copy, I'd be happy to sign it!)
